"Excellent - friendly hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and way above the star listing in terns of facilities. There is a pub below the accommodation but there is no issue with noise. The food is very good quality and plenty of ir. This pace is my ‘go to’ on business to the North East "
"It was lovely. We were well looked after. The staff and locals were friendly. The Stables were a row of Butlin’s style chalets. It was perfectly set up for self catering with a fridge, toaster and microwave. "

"The place was easy to find and was clean and pleasant to stay. The only down side was the terrible WiFi speeds as was only 3mps which meant we couldn't even stream a TV pgm on the TV."

"A wonderful property, everything was very comfortable, especially the huge sofa and the beds. There were fresh farm eggs, milk and a bottle of Fizz waiting for us when we arrived, a lovely touch. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be booking again."
