"Stayed in suite with our 18-month twins for the second time. So can compare what was good, what was bad and what has changed in the meantime (but basically the bad points remain year after year) On the plus side: Very large, well-designed rooms with stunning view. "Great location. Really close to the ski lifts - we could just walk out of the ski locker room and step onto the slope that leads down to the lifts. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a very short walk. The hotel itself was great value for money - an endless supply of food and drink all included in the room rate. Breakfast was a huge buffet with pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, breads, cooked meats, etc. You could make your own packed lunch during the breakfast buffet or...

"Always lovely to stay here, staff are friendly. The rooms I’ve always stayed in have been tired, but clean enough. BEWARE, Don’t bother paying cash for the Tax de Sejour upon check out as you will then be charged AGAIN on your credit card you used for security upon check in. I’ve been contacting the hotel since I got back to the UK trying to get a refund, but 7 messages later and I still have not heard back from them. The only negative to an otherwise lovely annual visit."

"What can I say, a fantastic hotel experience!! Clean, extremely comfortable and excellent service from all staff! Lovely breakfast, great location, Cosy bar area, nearby covered parking and a lovely little spa. The outdoor pool boasts amazing views of the mountains, just magical!! I highly recommend this lovely little property, my only improvement comment is the toilet roll provided in rooms which is a little too rough, so I purchased my own. Other than that, our experience was faultless....

"Honestly we were a bit concerned reading some of the reviews before our trip but our stay was fine! Reception staff friendly, check in and out process easy. The room was clean and tidied daily, breakfast was good. Nice balcony views. Sauna not working during our stay but other spa facilities were fine. No boot dryers in the ski lockers which would be a good thing to improve on."

"This was ideal choice for a cheap get away in Tignes. Room was basic but had everything we needed. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Don’t think this was their busiest time as restaurant not open in the evenings but plenty of options near by.. about 400 metre from slopes/ ski hire. Easy walk with bus stop outside. Parking limited but we got a space which improved our stay. "

"It's a very nice hotel. Location: 3-5 minutes to lifts. Plenty of Guides and Rental spots. Restaurants: Everything is nearby! 3-10 minutes and you have everything! Pool/Gym/Hot Tub: Busy pool after ski, gym always easy. Bar / Billiards: Very nice bar area. Overall, one of the best hotels in Val d'Isere. Doubt there are better."

"We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. My only small complaint is that I am very sensitive to scents and get headaches and the hotel makes liberal use of fragrances. I wish they toned it down a bit. But otherwise great. Breakfast was outstanding too. "
