"The view of the lake was incredible. I strongly recommend one of the rooms facing the lake. If you can get it I was here in the middle of winter and during the Daragh storm and the whole place was just kind of magical because of the to be honest. The grounds are beautiful. I walked all the way round and I just can’t think of another place that is as pretty as this. To be honest, I’d probably give the food a miss if I went back again."

"Our host was a distinctive and friendly character with many stories to tell, adding to the ambiance. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order and generous. The room was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower impressive! We had a great stay at the Quayside. "

"From start to finish it was a lovely relaxing stay at The Brehon. Bar food was great and kane the barman was fab. He really looked after us. Dining room was also fab. Patric looked after our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and really good too. I had a massage and facial in the spa and i would highly recommend Irena. It was amazing. We stayed in one of the heritage rooms and it was really nice. Good hairdyer , diffuser and straightners provided. Robes and slippers and also a fridge. Beds were really comfy and the shower was great.100% we will be back to The Brehon."
