Having called multiple times and never got a reply I got to the hotel at 10pm not knowing if I’d be able to check in or if I would have to find a last minute alternative. "First class service, the staff were brilliant, had to leave early on last day prior to breakfast and the restaurant ladies insisted on making coffee to go. Dinner was excellent limited menu but first class food. The hotels location was a surprise a secluded woodland with no sight of the heavy industries of the area. Will certainly stay again next time I am in the area. "

"This hotel is very beautiful, but food is very limited with little variety. The breakfast was just different types of granola, eggs, lunch meat, and rolls! No toast or pastries which was very odd. The restaurant at night offers salads, fish, and chicken all with risotto which was also bizarre since most German food comes with potatoes.
