"I would stay here again. However we did have an issue with check in. We were told rooms weren’t ready and would need to wait 20 minutes which turned into to be about 45. We had 3 rooms and only 2 were ready. Had to wait but then given a room on different floor Breakfast was good. A nice variety "

"The hotel staff was extremely nice. Hotel was clean and smelled nice. Room was large and comfortable. Nice free breakfast and menu provided the day before. This is our second time staying and highly recommend. There is road construction going on, but now the hotels fault."

"The proprietor was very responsive to our requests and helpful getting me signed into the internet. The room was very clean and adequate for our needs. The only thing was the fire alarm went off three separate times, very briefly between 2 and 3 am. We left very early, around 5 am, and did not speak with the owners. I would definitely stay there again but would report the fire alarm if it happened again."

Two nights for a wedding

"We stayed here for two night for a family wedding we attended in the area. The house was very clean and everything worked. However the WiFi strength is weak for TV. Beautiful location. We did not use boats or anything outdoors but I’m sure it would be a great spot for summer fun. "

"This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. We stayed at the lodge. It has been completely updated, but the rooms are still very small. The room was functional though. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. There was a microwave to use down the hall. There are no bad views from the lodge as far as I could tell. We woke every morning to a view of the horses grazing in the pasture. There is a restaurant and a bar downstairs, a game room, indoor and outdoor pools, firepit, marina, Store with food to order, sundries, wine and beer, Putt Putt, etc., etc., etc.."

Enjoyable getaway

"We had a lovely time here! It was just the refresh we all needed. There were parts of the house that could definitely use some TLC (ie. broken trim, missing lightbulbs/insufficient light), but our group wasn’t too bothered by those things. The hot tub could have been cleaner (some of our group got rashes), but the other amenities made up for it. Despite the negatives, we would (and will) stay here again."
