Coorie Braw holiday Lettings is a great spot for larger groups of families and friends to chillout, catch up, celebrate special occasions and make the most out of spending time together. The waterfront property has amazing views of the Firth of Clyde, and is well situated to explore the Cowal Peninsula and many of the attractions and beautiful scenery to be found in Argyll. The accommodation can accommodate up to 17 people and is pet friendly.
Firthview House is found to the front of Coorie Braw Cottage. It has 6 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. One of the twin bedrooms is downstairs while the other bedrooms are found on the first floor. The house can sleep up to 12 people. Coorie Braw Cottage has 3 bedrooms and a shared downstairs bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and there is a small double bedroom on the first floor. The cottage can sleep up to 5 people. The house and cottage are set in a quiet, residential area and there is parking available onsite. Both the house and cottage have hot tubs. The hot tub for Firthview House is to the front of the house and enjoys fantastic views of the water. The hot tub for Coorie Braw Cottage is more secluded offering a bit more privacy. There is outdoor seating, a fire pit, bbq and shared garden for guests to relax in.

Coorie Braw Holiday Lettings is easily accessible from both the car and foot passenger ferries and is a 10 minute walk from Dunoon town centre for shops, cinema, swimming pool, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
Local/ nearby family friendly restaurants/pubs: Tryst Restaurant and Bar (dog friendly), 51st State and Cantina and The Lorne Restaurant and Bar are all great for food and drinks including cocktails. Further afield we can recommend Royal Bar in Innellan (dog friendly), The Coylett on Loch Eck (dog friendly), The Creggan’s Inn on Loch Fyne (dog friendly) Loch and Kames Hotel in Kames (dog friendly).
Local Take aways: There are plenty of local take-aways and many of them deliver. Queen Street Chippy is the best in town for fish and chips. There are also River Jade, Golden Summit and Hong Kong Carry Out Chinese take aways.
Cafes: We can recommend The Boat House (dog friendly outdoor), Swallow Café (dog friendly indoor), Java Walk Take Away Cafe (dog friendly), The Burgh Hall Cafe. There are a few more cafes in town too.
Local amenities/places to visit include: swimming pool, cinema, amusements arcade, pubs, outdoor mini golf/putting, indoor soft play, playgrounds, Castle House Museum, West Bay Beach.
Shopping/Groceries: The high street in Dunoon has some lovely independent shops including Bookpoint, Doon the Watter, Highland Stores, Juno Jwellery Design, Once Upon a Christmas Christmas Shop, Allsortz Gift Shop, Heal and Glen Sports Shop and Purdies Fishing and Outdoor Store. On Hillfoot Street there is Argyll Vintners for some good wine and whisky as well and Eco Health food shop. The high street also has a few pharmacies. Groceries can be bought from The Co Op on Queen Street or Morrisons on John Street. Londis and Kirn Varieties are both convenience shops which are approximately a 5 minute walk from Coorie Braw Holiday Lettings.
Walks and scenery: There are plenty of walks in around the Dunoon area. ECHO Trails has some really useful information about some walking/cycling paths. There is Bishop’s Glen, Glen Masson and Pucks Glen for stunning scenic walks or just stroll along the promenade looking out for porpoises, seals and water birds. Tighnabruaich has an amazing viewpoint and Benmore Botanical Gardens is only a few miles away. Ardentinny on Loch Long is the closest sandy beach.
Outdoor Pursuits: Quadmania has archery and quad biking. Wreckspeditions offers awesome powerboat trips. Heal and Glen hire SUPs.
Some Ideas for Days Out: Inveraray and Loch Lomond are both a good day out with various attractions to visit. Across the water Largs has Vkingar! where you can learn all about Vikings or if you haven’t been yet, a day out in Glasgow City Centre is a must.
