"This hotel is located just across the street from the beach, which was great. My room was not sea facing, but I still had a bit of a sea view from the side. The street does get busy with a lot of car traffic & people so you have to be aware of your surroundings & your belongings, esp. when walking around. "The hotel was really nice. The staff did help us in many areas but even though they lived in Durban their knowledge was fairly limited about the area. All we were told was not to go out at night as it was not safe for white people. Even during the day do not wear a watch or show your phone.
