The cabin sleeps up to 10 with 1 king suite, 1 Queen Suite, a 4-person bunk room, and a Sofa Pull-Out Queen bed on the loft. Our king bed is outfitted with plush memory foam mattresses. Offering our guests ensuite bathrooms with a walk in shower.

We do provide the following as a Starter kit. Paper towel (2 Rolls), Garbage bags (6 bags), Toilet paper (3 Rolls each washroom). We do have 4 washrooms in the entire house. For Larger groups please do plan on additional supply to meet your own groups needs.

Our amazing private (1 acre, no neighbors in sight) outdoor space showcases the modern resort-style amenities with a 6-person hot tub and Barrel Sauna. There is also an outdoor sofa and a grill for your enjoyment on the Upper Patio. On cooler nights enjoy the firepit area where guests can make s'mores!

Once you are at The Blue Lake House you will not want to leave, but if you do decide to venture out, here are a list of activities for you and your group to experience!

* Gooderham Outdoor Skating Rink - 21 minutes
* Haliburton Sculpture Forest (Self-guided snowshoe tours) – 10 minutes
* Haliburton Forest Centre (Snowmobile/ATV tours) - 37 minutes

Guest access
While staying at The Blue Lake House guests will have access to the entire property except for any rooms with a locked door. Please do not try and unlock these doors, these rooms consist of maintenance supplies. To reaffirm, guests will have access to the lower level, main level, and upper level along with any unlocked rooms existing there.

Other things to note
Please note there is a $45 fee per person/night after the 4th guest. The breakdown of these charges should show up under Guest Paid section.

Your furry friends are welcome, with a $200 fee with 2 pets maximum.

There are 6 parking spots. All roads to The Blue Lakehouse are maintained and plowed by the municipality after every major snowfall, but it’s still best to have an AWD/4WD vehicle with winter tires to comfortably maneuver the roads and the driveway.
