"Old friends came for a few days to relax. Storm had hit the beach just before our arrival so the beach was not ideal but we swam & used kayaks on the flat Gulf water. Host was great re: communication & hospitality. Great area for sunsets & birdwatching. Nothing really within walking distance ; kitchen & grill were perfect for preparing our own meals. Swimming pool wonderful. Xcambo is close by for a visit to see Mayan ruins. Flamingos were abundant on the salt flats. Telchac & Progresso are...

"The house was clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated the large container of water. It is very difficult to locate the property. GPS will not take you here. After taking a left at the round about, you will go over one speed bump. Then you will see Sergio's beach club on the right. Just past that, on the left you will see a yellow house with the name "Anita" painted on it. This house is 2 properties down from the Anita house. if you go past Calle 84 on the left, you have gone too far....

"Unfortunately we had to leave after the first night as there was no AC. The fans alone weren’t enough to cool things down. My aunt has a breathing condition and it was stifling for her. It also has steps to the ocean which was hard for her to navigate. We were promised a refund and have yet to receive it."
