The house is in a very central location. The AC is very cold. The pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well every night. "Lovely house, plenty of space and fabulous views. We gave the bedroom on the top floor to our teenager as we preferred the ground floor room with the onsuite shower and storage, very comfy bed! The top room was a bit too bright for us. Lots of shady areas around the pool, although there was a fabulous breeze to keep us cool. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool on the couple of sunloungers, we bought a lilo for the children to chill out on. Great location and very secure, just a short drive to Puerto...

"The place is better than the photos depict. About 15 min drive north of Rosarito. Very secure neighborhood. It can be annoying if you need to use an Uber or taxi because you’ll need to walk to one of the entrances but makes it safer. Cute cats hang outside on the back deck. Path down to the water. "

"El Faro was a terrific place for our stay in Playa del Carmen. The condo was large and had a great balcony, the pool was perfect, the location was ideal, and the staff were wonderful. We will both recommend and return. Three suggestions: a broom and dust pan in the condo so we can deal with the sand we tracked in (if there was one we couldn't find it). Please use double bed sheets on the twins since you don't have fitted bottom sheets; this was a true pain in the butt to have to adjust all...

"The property has the potential to be exceptional however it felt like it isn’t well kept. Dish washer didn’t work, light bulbs missing, soap scum. Many things that could easily be addressed to make it an amazing stay"
