"My son and i stayed for a week here for his birthday. Everything was easily accessible for us and i noticed it was very accessible for persons with disabilities everywhere on the property which is amazing. The staff was very kind and helpful with all our needs and especially helpful to accommodate my son with a special cake for his birthday. I am considering bringing my daughter who is special needs as she would be able to enjoy full access to the entire resort including to the beach. The beach was amazing and really nice spot to swim in the ocean. The resort has several large swimming pools and some rooms can swim right to the doors of the decks or patios. The food options were adequate with 2 large buffet style all inclusive with many choices of different types of cuisine. It has become one of my favorite places so far and will definitely come back for another stay. I have nothing i wasnt happy with. Look forward to planning a trip with my daughter to this resort. "

"The staff is absolutely AMAZING! They will go above and beyond to help make your stay more relaxing, enjoyable and stress free! My husband and I came here for our 20th wedding anniversary and they made us feel very special with a lovely little note and a small gift. :) One day we bought some blow up mattresses to sit on in the ocean and a staff member saw us holding them and without us even asking he took it upon himself to have them blown up for us! All of the staff work so hard and value a clean environment. The food was amazing as well! Lots of different varieties to choose from. However, we would have liked to have had a little more authentic Mexican foods (there were some in the buffet area but we were hoping for more of an actual meal/restaurant). They definitely cater to tourist and everything we had was wonderful! We recommend the portabella burger at the steak house - SO GOOD! We also really enjoyed the Mariachi band at lunch (unfortunately they only had this one day while we were there, we only stayed 5 days) and the dancing through the ages show that played in the evening on Sunday. All in all we had a WONDERFUL visit and we can't wait to come back! Thank you RIU Cancun for making our anniversary one to remember! :-) "

"Riu Palace is a very beautiful resort on the sunny side of the beach, the main pool is large wit enough lounge chairs for guests. Food is good, either buffet or a la carte dinner restaurants. The Italian restaurant has the best ocean view, and food is delicious. Staff are hard working, polite and attentive. There is always food available to eat any time at the resort. Wifi connection is good. We like a waiter named Raul, who works hard and aways smiles and served us like a friend. Room is clean, towels are enough, but I found the room should have enough phone charging outlets, and a clock. Mini bar should have fruit juice selection. Guests room should have a bottle of wine in room for arrival and for guests birthday. Its a pity that the ocean in front of the resort is not swimmable and water is cold in Winter, but the beach stretch is flat and nice. Overall, my husband, daughter and I enjoyed the stay at this resort. "
