"We loved our week at Cabanas Henua Iti. Tiare, her family and staff are friendly, helpful and kind. The location is on the outskirts of town, but it's possible to walk down the hill and Tiare is there to help arrange a taxi if needed. Lots of things within hiking distance - for reasonably active people. We had booked some guided tours and we also rented a car from Tiare for a couple of days to explore on our own. "We got exactly what we expected considering the price. The best part was the staff and the breakfast was amazing! They were so helpful and always responded quickly! It was a little farther from town but you can easily reach town for 4-5 dollars so it was not a problem for us. The only negative is there was a kitchen but nothing to cook with or eat with. "The property was in a good location - close to the water but away from town for some peace and quiet. The staff speak very limited English however they do offer a free airport pick up however their signage could do with some improvement. Not sure if a return airport transfer is included too, there was nobody around when I tried to check out and had to arrange a taxi."
