"Hotel is a bit run down. Rooms were basic and clean. Person at the front desk was not very knowledgeable. They are a mile and a half from town and the walk along the ocean was nice but still got tiring. Would be good if they had bicycles for rent. They did call taxis for us which arrived pretty quickly except for one that didn't show at all (and guy then had left the desk). Water is not drinkable and hotel only sold small bottles and ran out so there was no water available at all one night...

"This is NOT a 5-star resort. WiFi is only in the lobby and intermittent at best. Tiny ants in our room and flies on the food. One member of the staff told me rudely to go into town (a 30 minute walk) if I needed internet, that internet was not important to Rapa Nuians. Don’t advertise you have WIFI if it doesn’t work.
