"It was a nice get away, we were the only guests when we were there, both Breakfast and dinner were great! Very peaceful and beautiful to be just amongst the trees. We drove up the road, and got some snacks and drinks. There is a fridge in the common area, to keep the beer cold. A great place to see another part of Jamaica. Getting there is slow going, narrow and windy lots of potholes to avoid on the road, but worth it once you get there. "

"I really like the proximity to Bob Marley beach. It is the hidden gem of St.Andrew’s. The rooms were clean and beds were suffice. Could upgrade towels and they need to put water in the pool as there wasn’t any for the week I was there. Also they lock the gate way to early."

"Although it was difficult to find in the dark and wouldn't recommend traveling there in a low clearance vehicle, the place was beautiful and tranquil. Food and service was friendly and welcoming. The showers are difficult to get a warm temperature, it seemed to be either hot or cold lol, wasn't able to find a way to mix the two. But who cares when you relax on a hammock on your balcony being serenaded by the river! "

"Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time"

"I had a bit of difficulty finding this place. Firstly, this apartment is not in New Kingston, but rather in a place called "Mona". Therefore, the name is slightly misleading. I booked this location and was eventually moved to another location, which was quite nice in the end, however, the security that is at the gate for this apartment complex needs to be aware that there may be guests checking in here that booked through Expedia. "It is a lovely colonial type building surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful grounds which separate it from a busy main road that you hardly hear. We checked in at 3am due to flight delays and the staff were competent and ver helpful getting us to our rooms. The breakfast restaurant was open and ver cool. The waiting staff were very good and it was a lovely leisurely experience. My grandson loved the pool. It was a brief but very good experience I would thoroughly recommend this hotel."
