"The property had a lovely pool area with many options to find shade for those needing it, aa well as the adjacent beach. Shops and restaurants were a short walk away for alternative dining and price ranges. The breakfast buffet had abundant choices and a lovely calm setting to enjoy interior or exterior dining. Good seating options inside and outside the room."

"Coral Strand is one of the only hotels that truly is on the beach. The hotel in general needs updating badly but the amenities served their purpose fine. We asked for well-blended piña coladas, but the staff did not understand how tourists prefer their drinks. Mahek restaurant is the best for lamb curry. Find other food elsewhere."
