"This was our first family getaway that did not involve seeing extended family and my kids are still talking about the trip! There was so much to do that everyone had something fun to do. My kids loved being in the water and playing darts. My husband enjoyed being able to fish right out of the backyard and how quiet it was. I enjoyed sitting outside and watching the wildlife (loved seeing the bald eagle that landed on the dock!). Will definitely be staying here again!"

Charm and comfort!
"There's so much to LOVE about this property! Everything is immaculate; the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need (and we're picky cooks); the appliances are high quality and the furnishings are lovely. We really enjoyed spending evenings on the back deck by the beautiful magnolia. At night, everyone loved their room and thought they had the most comfy bed, and the grands especially liked the additional cottage. During the day, we were able to visit Nags Head, the NC Aquarium, and a nearby Wildlife Refuge where we saw a bear. We knew we liked the charming community of Edenton, but now we also know exactly where we want to stay when we come back."
