Great spot for getting into Edinburgh from and with parking. Room was comfortable and what was to be expected, the pool is a great facility and does just the job. Dinner in the restaurant was good however the children's menu was a little limited.

The rooms were very dated and it looked like the hotel was in the process of renovating. The location is good for getting into central Edinburgh as there bus stops right outside the hotel. We were snowed in during our stay but we were able to occupy ourselves at the bar and games area. The games area include pool table, foosball table as well as few board games although a lot pieces were missing. Overall a good stay.

There was a zoo just next to the hotel, which was very fun and lovely. The availability of a Starbucks and some entertainment areas in the lounge was unique, and I enjoyed using all the facilities. I could not use the sauna, but it would have been as wonderful.
