Conveniently located a short walk from Waverley station the hotel is central to just about everything you want to see. Rooms are very well equipped for the self-caterer, and you can wash and dry clothes at no cost. Staff were very helpful at all times. Comfortable bed, large room, balcony to test the air temperature (I was there in the colder months), couldn’t be more satisfied.

I stayed with my sister and my niece on a girlie weekend. We loved the hotel, especially the mini kitchen area. We had a fab view from our window in a great location. the room was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful. Loved it. Highly recommended

This was a last minute booking due to an issue with the tour travel agency booking at another hotel. This was nearby the group and not a complete shock to the bank account. This was a lower priced room for what was available, but comes in swinging way above it's weight class. The only gripe is that it was hard to get the room to cool. AC was only on when in the room and took forever to cool. I don't think I ever got it below 23.5. There were good views from the balcony. The free coffee was great tasting and free. And the croissants were also amazing. It's cashless so any snacks go to the room (wanted to get rid of some coins). Only about a15 minute walk to the base of Arthur Seat trails, Edinburgh Castle at the Royal Mile, and great shopping. Will definitely consider this brand for future bookings.

Beautiful property tucked upstairs in the shopping center behind the theater. Loved the outdoor bar with the view of Edinburgh. Rooms were nice, clean and well-appointed. Staff was friendly. Like the lobby coffee bar (free).

Great spot for us. We love St James Square. All kinds of eating options and easy averse to sites and shopping. The hotel has free laundry but beware the machines run very hot even when cold option is chosen - lost 3 shirts to the heat. There is a pop up bar on the east side of the hotel near the rooms but it closes at 11.

Great location. Close to Edinburgh attractions, Waverly train station, buses and the tram. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and full kitchen. Only minor improvements to suggest-more clothing/towel hooks, vary the grab and go breakfast pastry. Shower stall floor gets very slippery when wet. Overall, a nice facility. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Edinburgh Stay!
Excellent room with a small kitchen area. Location is close to everything. A two minute walk from Waverly train station. The hotel is located on top of St James Quarter shopping center. Lots of restaurants nearby. Everything about the hotel was five stars.
