"This was a fantastic stay for us. We are long term customers of the treasury hotel next door, and thought we’d try the star grand. Tidy, new, great location and wonderful staff. Our only complaint is that we booked for 1 adult, a 15 year old girl and an 11 year old boy (ages included in booking through Expedia). The room was furnished with a king bed. They informed us all 3 of us were expected to sleep in the same bed, and a trundle was an additional $80 fee per night. I didn’t want to get in to...

"I booked a room for my father whilst Mum was in hospital. From hotel door to Mater doors was no more than 2 min walk. Parking was included and the staff went out of their way to facilitate my father checking in early. Only about 25 min walk to Southbank and plenty of eating options within 5 min walk."
