"We enjoyed a short stay at this home. Its in the perfect location for rural experience of Costa Rica, but close enough to jump over to La Fortunas tourist trap. We watched the parrots (yellow naped and toucans) play and eat every morning with the volcano backdrop. We also got to see a pizote on our ride into La Fortuna. "The house was everything you needed; cozy, quaint, stunning views, gorgeous landscaping and privacy. "The property is gorgeous! Our private balcony overlooked the Arenal volcano and Pueblo Nuevo lake. There were tons of different birds around and the property is very quiet and secure. It has a remote control gated entrance and a steep, paved driveway to the top where all the bungalows are located. The pool is very nice, but since it isn't heated, we stuck to the hot tub.
