"Property is beautiful. Only complaint is about the food. Buffet and restaurant food was not good at all. One exception was dining at Atlantis which was great! Excursions was wonderful! Also, drinks were made with lowest shelf liquor and not great."

"Just left after 10 days. Rooms great (we had Secrets Preferred), beach spectacular, nice pools and pool bars. But restaurants only so, so. We tried 6 restaurants to try and get a good steak. Not one good one. Tough meat and always overcooked, sorry to say. Lambchops at Bordeaux were excellent and good seafood at Tierra. Otherwise pretty mediocre food at the a la carte restaurants. We live in Chicago, with world class restaurants, but are not food snobs and do not expect great food at AIs. But these restaurants were just disappointing, at least to us. Actually we liked the buffets best -- you could see what you were getting before deciding what to put on your plate. We have been to a lot of all inclusives over the years and the food here was just a C."

"W is a kind of action party vibe brand with music speakers and noise everywhere, even at the “quiet” pool. Not somewhere if you want tranquil relaxation. Building is a deep. V to the sea so ocean view is a side view. Non ocean view rooms look on to neighbouring vegetation. Chef is a highlight - food high standard in all restaurants though perhaps would become limited after a while. Some really great members of staff - others still learning. "
