"My friend and I found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location but an easy walk to the centre of Alnwick, the castle and gardens. Lovely fresh bread at the Lidl, a minute's walk away! Only about 10-15 mins from the beautiful Northumbian coastal path and beaches. Would certainly stay here again."

"We had a lovely cosy stay in this comfortable cottage. It suited our needs perfectly. It is a remote property right next to the Vindolanda site, which was well worth visiting, there was free entry with the cottage. Great location for lots of walks and Hexham & Corbridge are worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here."

"Had a lovely stay here for a couple of nights. The location is ideal, really close to the high street with shops, cafes and pubs. The welcome basket and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. We will definitely stay again and have recommended to friends."

"Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended."

"We had a lovely time at Lundy Cottage. The house was immaculately clean and very welcoming. The rooms were all a very good size and the house is freshly renovated and decorated. The welcome pack was extremely generous thank you. The location is very good with easy parking outside the house. It’s just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Alnwick. There is a corner shop just over the road and a well stocked coop within a couple of minutes walk. The only downside for us was that the master...

"A lovely spot for a few days away to relax and unwind. The property was clean and well-maintained and was a lovely base to explore beautiful Northumberland. The only downside was the noise from the adjacent busy road but it it did quieten down late evening. Would stay again"
