"I chose this hotel because the pictures on Hotels.com looked really nice, the location is right downtown, and the price was very reasonable. I was extremely impressed. It is a beautiful place! The lobby is outstanding! My room was great. The food at both restaurants was excellent. The staff is really nice. Parking was $5 per day. Very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again the next time I travel to Scranton. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was! Highly recommend!!"
"The property could use a bigger sign and a sign on where you enter to get to the hotel... but well worth the turn around. The staff is very professional and pleasant. The room are clean and spacious. The bed was just like home very comfortable, the right temperature and very clean. Love the soap refreshing and smells so fresh. The one thing I would change is the ice bucket - it was plastic and leaked so I placed it in the bathroom, so it didn't ruin the cabinet... I will probably be using these hotels in the future when I travel - Thank you for a great night of sound sleeping... The morning breakfast bar was very nice - I would ask for a sugar free creamer and a more natural sugar substitute like stevia - the others have aspartame or sucralose in them... Great job Hilton "

"We always love it here. Yes, the hotel is aging and declining but the most important thing is that the management is trying their best to keep up with the amenities. The employees are friendly and helpful. For the price, that’s good enough for us. The location and amenities like free hot buffet is good and a trail to walk our dog is a big win to us. We love their outdoor area and the Shogun restaurant!We keep coming back. Actually booking now for our next visit. "

None of that compares to the tremendous kindness you showed me and my girlfriend on the morning of our checkout.
