"Stayed with family over May half term and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Villa was clean and comfortable, benefited from the heated pool and a new set of garden furniture arriving on our first day. Charles was very responsive to sort out the very few and very minor issues during the week. Also very flexible on arrival and departure times. "The villa has a fantastic garden, pool and terrace areas. It is brilliantly located in a quiet street near everything. The rooms are all spacious and the a/c (bedrooms only) works well. The kitchen appliances have been updated. The only criticism is that that the bathrooms are tired and would benefit from being updated but this did not detract from a wonderful family joliday! "

"Our family of 6 adults recently stay at Villa Murta for 3 weeks in May24 and were very pleased with our decision to stay here. The villa was very large and fit our family well. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table and the location to Faro and surrounding area was easy to access. The road leading to the villa is very narrow so a smaller vehicle is recommended. The location to the closest Lidl and Continente grocery stores in Sao Bras de Alportel was very convenient. Thank you Villa Murta...

"Property was not the easiest to find and the welcome information should be improved. Things like wifi access, local restaurant recommendations or things to do in the area should be available. The place itself was good and the pics of the backyard are accurate. A very nice outdoor area. Indoors things are starting to show their age."

"The property is in an ideal location on the edge of the golf course and close to the main reception and shops. A pleasant walk through the golf course to the beach was a daily delight. The villa is spacious and well kept, clean and with all the amenities and equipment needed. I'll be back!"

"Fabulous villa which had all the facilities and ameneties as described. Great location conveniently positioned for beach Restaurants and supermarket. The owner Vivie was very helpful when we were booking the property and was on hand to provide helpful information in the build up to our visit. Strongly recommend!"

"Lovely modern house in a great location. Almancil is neautiful and convenient to local attractions, people here are so friendly and accomodatiing. Chris was a great host and replied quickly to email queries and even allowed us a late checkout. Would have been nice to have black out blinds or shutters as very bright in the mornings from 6am, a washing machine would be handy too but these are only minor things as overall house is fab!"

"The villa was lovely, we loved the setting and the views were fantastic. You can walk to several restaurants. We were left a welcome package which was very helpful, but you do definitely need to go to a big supermarket as the two mini-markets did not stock very much especially fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, we would also say that the villa did not have enough towels and they also need to be renewed."

"Great location, walking distance to Almancil town and Quinta do Lago. Uber and Bolt are easy to book and good value for longer trips. Stunning villa, masses of indoor and outdoor seating and tables. Grand lobby. All modern including bathrooms and kitchen. Two fridges. Great pool area and plenty for the kids including table tennis, basket ball and trampoline. BBQ area is superb and well located on the grounds. Gardens well kept. Would definitely book and stay again. "
