"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful about restaurants in the nearby area. Great shower pressure, which is definitely a plus, the only negative thing I can say is the beds and pillows were old and not very comfortable, they should definitely replace them."

"This is a review of my 3rd stay. This time got room 113, it was nice and had a basic remodel. Bed was nice. Breakfast is good, the hot food is served to you one plate and filling. I am in town for regular health care and this week was in budget. Hope to stay here again"

"I asked for late check out, 12pm, but housekeeping knocked at 11am and woke me up anyway. Terrible. "

"The staff are very friendly. The check in person has a smile during check in. The lady refilling the food for breakfast is very nice and hard working. The am breakfast is great, there’s hot food eggs, sausage and potatoes. I was able to make my own waffle/ pancake. They have variety of food, fruits, yogurt, coffee and tea. It is conveniently located closed to entrance of freeway. There are other restaurants close by. Overall experience is great."

"A historic hotel, excellent proximity to walkable restaurants and shops. I enjoy the two separate bedrooms for my family. I would have been happier with a less-saggy mattress (bed comfort weighs heavily in my ratings). Bathroom and linens were clean. Shower squealed during use. This is an excellent and affordable waypoint between Tahoe and the SF Bay."
