"while visiting family in SD for Thanksgiving we decided to make a mini vacation out of it. This place surpassed all of our expectations! The location is fantastic! dolphin watching every morning, walks on the beach, fabulous restaurants and for us 15 min drive to my Brothers house. Highly recommend! "

"The steps outside could use some repairs but overall room was comfortable and just on a beautiful mountain. Be aware roads are very windy and narrow to get up there and stop for food before you do. Was great for late night star gazing. The host was amazing and very knowledgeable and helpful. He lead a couple nights of star gazing and pointed out the Atlas Comet, several satellites and planets. He took a map out for us for Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and pointed out all the most sees....

"The country setting and large farmhouse with amazing views was just the stress-free Thanksgiving location we were seeking. It was just two couples but it could easily have held many members of our family. The house was well stocked, but my favorite was the bath size towels. We pampered ourselves by eating out but we could easily h at the house."

"This property was close to all the events associated with my 45th Santa Monica High School reunion. I appreciated the private entrance given I was coming and going all hours of the day. I also appreciated the coffee set up. I did not have to venture out for coffee. This property was exceptionally convenient."

"The unit was perfectly fine for our stay. I didn't register that the bathrooms were downstairs from main area so that was hard on my father who has bad knees, but we just planned ahead for that. The loft was hard to maneuver but again, we made do. Everything was in good order and the kitchen had the necessary items. The decor was fun and appropriate for the area. We did encounter a bear at the lodge hot tub so that was exciting. We made sure the trash was latched up tight. The parking lot...

"My family and I came to Napa for a Thanksgiving getaway and had a wonderful stay here! The home and neighborhood are gorgeous and a short drive to downtown Napa and less than 30-40 minutes to all the vineyards! Would definitely recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Joshua Tree. Things were very cute and cozy. The artwork by the owner was a charming touch. The kitchen worked out well. We appreciated having filtered water, a water heater, and a coffee grinder in the morning. We fixed lunches and one dinner and had everything we needed. It was too windy during out stay to have a fire which we had been looking forward to. This was a great spot for enjoying Joshua Tree, especially if you don't want to be near town for meals."
