"First, the host Alex, is incredible! Stayed in contact before, right after we checked in to be sure all was good and right after we checked out. GOLD star Alex!! The property was incredible! Nice surprise was the soft water system. Fire pit was very nice as well. Kitchen well appointed and clean. Memory foam mattresses and extremely comfortable. Property secluded and private. All in all…6 stars in my book!!"

"The property does have a slight slant on the first floor which can be fun after a few adult beverages. The house was clean and provided all the things i needed. The host communicated the door number the morning off as promised. The only complaint i would have is the pool table is too big for that room and the dart board is missing the darts. I would rent this house again next time I'm in Roanoke. "

It is little tricky to find the entry at night. some of our party feedback 1. the beds are too soft other than the beds in master bedroom. 2. there is no dishwasher detergent. After communicating with Laura, we were told someone will drop some, but we did not see any during our stay. "Stayed here with 6 of my friends. There is tons of places to sleep. Allowed use of the blackstone, grill and fire pit. Loved using the kayaks, paperboards and lily pad. Great proximity to mangos, a fun bar with live music. Would definitely stay here again!"

"It was gorgeous out there. Enough space for 20 people. Plenty of room for me. It was clean and had every appliance we needed. Property manager was responsive, pleasant and ver accomodating. Whole family talked about coming back every year! Thank you so much!"

"We had an absolutely great time staying at O'Neill's Getaway. We had 9 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. The screened in porch was great for meals and just time to read. The waterfront was great for our two young kids as it has a small area to the left of the dock where they could walk into the water about 15 feet before it started to get deep.
