"Bedrooms on both visits seemed tired and in need of a redesign. Bedroom corridors also very tired with strange large numbering on doors. Was intending to cancel second visit and book somewhere else, but too busy until too late to rebook."

"This is a grand 18th century hotel located in the heart of old town near the pier and historic sights. This hotel is currently under renovation. Appreciate the effort to update the hotel. Our room had a very strong smell from recent rennovation so the staff gratuitously moved us to a suite at no cost. The hotel also includes breakfast, afternoon snack, and light dinner. "
