By staying on Plan Checrouit, you avoid having to queue for the gondola up and down Plan Checrouit, which can get quite busy at peak periods. "We were on foot and able to walk to/from the train station through Annecy which took a leisurely 40 mins (for those so inclined - it’s a hill!). The climb was worth it. Beautiful lake view from our window and pleasant concierge staff. We rented e-bikes (40e/each) for a day and road the beautiful 26mile path around the lake. Also easy access to hiking trails above Les Tresomes. Highly recommend! "
