"I would never return nor reccommend this property to anyone. There was construction going on in the front of the building from 5am-10am with non stop banging. The construction of the entire building is also built extremely poor where you can hear a pin drop from the room next door to the person below and above you even with 10 ft ceilings. "Shared bathroom means you could be waiting a while to use it. At time of my bathroom was occupied for almost an hour by 2 women in other room so you can be in trouble if you urgently need to use toilet as there are no other options, at least none I was made aware of. "One of Portofino’s finest hotels. Our private, luxurious, high-ceiling, large room with a balcony overlooking the sea was a total treat. A fairy tale. A short stroll to the bay of Portofino where all the action is on the waterfront. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really took great care of us. We hope to return one summer to take advantage of the hotels own private beach. "

"It was great to stay in a historic old home. It was totally comfortable and though I would be considered elderly I don’t come to Italy expecting not to have to climb stairs or do a lot of walking. "Great hotel with big room, unlike typical European hotels. We booked the triple room and it was lovely. Super spacious, comfy bed, balcony was perfect view of the little town. We got breakfast with our booking and the buffet was plenty to choose. Food was delicious too. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean and smells amazing . Transportation was easy as it was close to the main train station. Also lots of dining options around the area within walking distance. Definitely recommended!!"
