"The room was better than expected!"

"The location was ok but you really needed a car to get to the city. A shopping centre was less than 5 minutes away by car which was handy. The room was quite spacious and had the standard coffee, tea, toaster etc. Cleanliness was average as there were a few streaks of something on the table and the base had a layer dust."

"We had an executive suite on the 15th floor, very comfortable and spacious with magnificent views across the harbour. Loved that it was flat walking to wharf, restaurants and Salamanca. Always something to see and do. Great cocktail bar on the ground floor to finish the days activities!"

"The hotel is a lovely old establishment, one of the first in Hobart. We were very happy with the reception staff as they were very polite and helpful. Although the site shows pictures of the lovely dining and restaurant area don’t expect it to be open unless it’s the peak season,this was not specified on the site and we were disappointed we couldn’t dine there. Our room was very spacious with an enormous oversized bed and a nice view of the old church opposite. A bit dusty behind the bed but...
