no munch to share. we arrived late and left in the early morning
Allocate at least 2 full days to explore the Fuji area and the 5 lakes. The buses are cheap, regular and cover all areas. Talk to the staff at Kawaguchiko Station about the best ticket bundle options for your stay
Awesome little town with a lot to do if you look for it. Obviously it has Mount Fuji nearby but when cloudy prepare to be disappointed. The down side would be how there’s pockets of shopping centres but they’re spread out rather than in one area.
Staying at the best place really does make your trip a whole lot better. We stayed for one night to see mt. Fuji but the weather was not the best. But the hotel made us happy enough that we wish we had more time there, at the hotel itself!
The only downside is the bus transport. Some time of the day, busses are full. They cannot accomodate all passengers waiting in bus stops.
