"Ten-Yu was amazing. The property, staff, food, and town were all amazing. The hot spring water was invigorating and relaxing. The private onsen had a beautiful waterfall, the public garden was great. We didn’t try the bar, but did have dinner at the restaurant which was good, followed by a breakfast which had copious amounts of food for all tastes."

"Amzing property with fantastic views of Mt Fuji - make sure you book this side of the hitel, you wont be disappointed. Also, one of the best showers I've seen in a hotel room - now I want one for home :)"

"Hotel is nice and location is good too. The fireplace was the highlight of the stay. Sipa glass of red wine hearing the firewood burn. However the room was not well maintain and there are insects."

"View from our room to the lake and Mount Fuji was worth every single penny. Highly recommended that you either rent a car or be prepared to pay for taxis to go down to the town and restaurants. Most of the times it will be around 2,200 yens for a one way trip, so consider this in your expenses. Great traditional hotel with the opportunity to have a private onsen in the hotel. "
