"This was the perfect place for our girls weekend. The house is cozy and comfortable. The best part of this vacation home is the host. Communication with her is excellent, and she is so accommodating and kind. We loved how close to town we were yet still able to enjoy a relaxing and quiet neighborhood. We sat and watched 2 deer visit us each day. They seemed to be part of the neighborhood. We went to the beach and enjoyed the view of the water and then walked some trails at one of the nearby...

"The house was clean and quite adequate for our 3 day stay. We met Mr. Marshall when we arrived (he was there with a crew working on furniture and some repairs). He was very pleasant, as was the crew. We like to cook for ourselves. The stove was not completely functional -- shelves do not fit, and the interior needs a good cleaning. The towel rack above the second floor bathroom toilet is pulling of the wall and could use some attention. Rick Ginther (for the Ginther Siblings)"

"Great house to stay in while visiting South Bend. Beds/linens extremely clean, house overall is very clean and comfortably fits a large family/group of friends. Convenient to all stores and to Notre Dame campus -a short walk or a quick car ride. We highly recommend this property and would consider renting again on our next visit."

"Nice weekend stay within walking distance to downtown and a quick drive to the casino. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Front porch was enclosed, it was nice to sit and read while watching the traffic go by. Hot tub was nice and hot! We would go back. "

"Nice, quiet space "

"Main house is very nice. Guest house has a trundle. You could squeeze 3-4 in there and it has it's own 3/4 bath. Smells musty even with the AC on. Property is 1-1/2 blocks from beach but then 70 steep stairs or steep dune walk to shoreline. Not good if you have some orthopedic issues. Not sure about the boats. They may have been at the beach but the canoe is alongside the house. There are plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas/toys in the property shed and a wagon. There is no parking...
