"Very cool Victorian hotel in Port Townsend. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as you can easily walk around the downtown area. There is also a free local bus that makes stops all around the area. We never saw any ghosts but were intrigued by the rich history of the hotel and Port Townsend in general. There is also a great bottle shop in the same building with a fantastic wine selection. If you're hungry, go to the other side of the hotel and have great pizza and soup. We loved visiting this town and we're so glad we stayed at the Palace Hotel. "

"You could add a 3 or 4 card poker table. The staff in the check in and the restaurants were awesome, some of the staff in the casino were not as friendly and felt put out when I asked a question. It happened a couple different times or I wouldn’t mention it. "

"I came for a family visit. The Manager was very friendly and offered me an upgrade. This was really great value for the money. It is possible to walk to most shops and restaurants in the center of town for those so inclined."
