"While the Vancouver Hotel might be a 3-star hotel, it felt like 5 star in customer service. The hotel manager, David, and his wife were so kind and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early, organized a motorbike rental for us, answered all of questions as tourists, and helped organize a cab for us. "Mr Truong the Guest House proprietor was very helpful throughout my stay and arranged 2 enjoyable day excursions for me.The accomodation whilst tucked away down a small side alley is only approx a 40 minute walk or 5 min taxi ride from the Centre of Ninh Binh.There is a small supermarket on the main road virtually in front of the Guest House.I would recommend the De-lux rooms as the size is almost double that of standard.Breakfast can be ordered but I did not need it so cannot comment on the...

"Amazing hotel! We had such an awesome stay with such a cool view! We were treated with such kindness by Dzung and his wife. They were so gracious, charming and helpful. He provided us so much helpful information about the town and activities, loaned us bikes to use for the day, and they made us a great breakfast every day. "Very friendly and welcoming family and staff. Clean comfortable rooms with great views. It was cold when we were there so having the aircon switched to heating was a boon. The food was good and filling which was appreciated, as the nearest restaurants and shops are 10 minutes walk away. Breakfasts are freshly prepared but as this is a small hotel it is not buffet style, it is nonetheless filling and tasty. Bikes and motorcycles are available for hire at the hotel. "

"Friendly staff and big clean room. Breakfast was ok. Hotel was abit far from the walking street, more than 10 minutes walk. Really disappointed with their air conditioning. We cannot set the temperature in our room. We called reception few time throughout the night to set the temperature cooler and they cannot do it. We couldn’t sleep the whole night as the room was warm and sticky. Lucky it winter can’t imagine how hot it will be in summer "

"Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam despite also being the most affordable. The hotel itself is lovely and well-situated in a quiet but convenient spot in Ninh Binh town. The staff are incredibly kind and generous: the concierge took time out of his day to drive me somewhere quiet for a scooter-riding lesson and handled getting me on a sleeper train to Da Nang. Cannot recommend Thuy Anh highly enough"
