"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"A l'arrivée dans le grand gite, nous avons noté un manque de principales choses qui auraient dû ne pas manquées, comme le produit vaisselle, les éponges, produits d'entretien , papier wc, tout ce que nous trouvons d'habitude dans une location,sinon tout le reste parfait et propre, les 3 jours: visites aux alentours , marche dans les sables mouvants(super) et marche dans les falaises du Cotentin (merveilleux , difficile un peu)"

"Charming spot is as described, stone house with a brook running behind. Stayed in early March so the house had to be heated by the wood stove fairly constantly. Some wood was provided but we had to go up the hill to fill a wheelbarrow for another load. Internet access was sketchy at times. A weak signal. "We spent two nights at the gites with a group of 20. We don't speak French, but we wanted to see Mont Saint Michel. The manager didn't speak English, so we had a communication problem from the beginning. "Had extended family (12 of us) all staying in one place including a toddler, young kids, tweens and 6 adults! The place was perfect for what we needed. The pool was a big win, excellent amenities in terms of crockery, glasses, cutlery kitchen equipment etc. Garden was lovely and we had almost no complaints. "Rien à dire de négatif. Marine a été d une grande disponibilité et sympa en plus, la maison est vraiment très grande et bien aménagée. Nous étions 20 personnes et on a eu de l'espace et chacun notre intimité. Le grand terrain nous a permis de faire de bonnes parties de football, bref génial. "We enjoyed our stay very much - everything we needed was in the property. The host, Jean-Claude was most welcoming and friendly. Most mornings we could get fresh croissants from the boulangerie in the village and there is a good local restaurant just 5 mins up the road. We especially appreciated the washing machine and tumble dryer as the weather in October was not ideal for drying clothes."
