"The food in their restaurant was less to be desired. Their private island was closed and as a guest of the hotel we are charged a fee upon checkin which is an additional fee to the reservations for items related to visiting the private island I.e., beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boat taxi service to and from the island. We were charged the full price even though the hotel had closed the island."

"Stayed in a cottage on Stocking Island; very peaceful and the beach is beautiful. Poor communication with loss of power one night and both emergency numbers were not answered. Quite concerning. Took a couple days to get our stove working. "

"This place has seen better days. Carpeting appears to be at least 20 years old. It's been a while since I stayed at a place that did not have a coffee pot in the room nor coffee available on the property by 7:00 am. The staff was nice and friendly which was the only save."

"The house and the location was perfection for my family. The teens loved the two bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs was perfect for my husband and daughter and I. "The place was good for the price. Loved the location. Bed was big which I loved but a little too hard for me. Loved having the washer and dryer in there . The couch was very uncomfortable. Cloe said they are doing a full renovation in April can’t wait to see it all done over."
