"Good, clean hotel. Properly located. Two minor sides is basic things like shampoo and conditioner in the showers. There is one body wash/shampoo in one that wrecked my hair. Second, breakfast is not included and very expensive compared to the local prices of food. It is much cheaper to get fresh breakfast from a supermarket close by. "
"Tourist passing through. This motel (doors on outside) may not be in a great part of town, but it was cheap. The staff were great to speak with, and the bartender was quite engaging. Room was just OK, everything quite old, and close to the highway so noisy. Breakfast was 15 and quite good. Stayed there for the price and satisfied. "
"A warm welcome on arrival. Lovely room in a separate building to the main one. Nice gardens and view from the room. Access to the spa included, but the pool was out of use both days. Charged extra by accident when checking out, but recitifed when phoned."
"The “wellness room” that we had was beyond our expectations - sauna and whirpool bath in the room. Lucky to have a great view of the train tracks for our 21-month-old to stare at the many trains passing by. "
"I was only there for one night. A lovely hotel. I just wish I had, had the time to try the facilities.
My only issue was the marshmallow pillows. Even with 2 they were far too soft. I resorted to using the cushions, supplied."
"Food at restaurant was delicious, breakfast buffet was great, room was ok but walls between rooms veeeery thin and first night I was kept awake for 3 hrs listening to the couple in the room next to me having noisy sex. Bathroom was freezing cold when it was cold outside. But staff was lovely and helpful in every way "
"Good deal on Expedia with a last minute reservation near the airport. "Moxy" - force of character - was that. Maybe the beds could've been a little softer, but maybe we don't rest well in others' beds. But we'll remember Moxy for the characteristic hotel she was. Happy Trails!"
"Great place to stay away from the city but public transport can be tricky (running time). Train / bus station is 10 mins walk away and run frequently throughout but just needs planning. I would recommend staying here if you want a quiet and clean place away from the city and don’t mind commuting. "
"We really enjoyed our stay. Abit far from the train station, however that’s our fault. However the room was far too hot, and got uncomfortable. However the bed was like sleeping on a big cushion, absolutely lovely."

"My second time at this hotel and was just as happy as the first. The rooms are so quiet and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Within an easy walk of the metro and tram as well as lots of lovely cafes and restaurants."

"I recently stayed at The Huxton Lloyd boutique hotel in Amsterdam, and it was a very nice experience. The stylish decor perfectly blended modern elegance with the city’s historic charm. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, offering personalized service that made me feel right at home. My room was cozy yet luxurious, with thoughtful touches like plush bedding. The location was ideal, within a short distance of key attractions, yet tucked away enough for a peaceful retreat. The breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a unique and comfortable stay in Amsterdam."

"Excellent property and really nice rooms! Metro is super close so that makes it easy to get to both the city center and Schiphol. Convenient to the highway as well. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Great staff. Great location. Great breakfast. Very clean. My only tip is don’t expect to just walk in to the rooftop bar. Reservation is needed. Especially on a Saturday night. "
