"My partner and I loved our stay at the Scott. It’s a nice area and away from the craziness of the royal mile in Edinburgh. The decor and vibe of the hotel is so cool! The room was amazing!! The rooms are very modern with gorgeous bathrooms and showers. The soap and body wash/body lotion smells amazing. The robes and slippers gave it a luxurious feel. We also dined at the restaurant and did the tasting menu. The staff pulled out the red carpet for us it felt like- the tasting menu was incredible!...

"Dog friendly hotel? £30 charge for the dog package extortionate and dog not allowed in the restaurant. Arrived after a 4 hour journey at around 2.15 to be told our room isn’t ready. I know check in is 3 pm but this isn’t and never will be good enough when you’re paying £170 a night. We went for a coffee in the bar and asked to be informed when our room was ready. Not happening nobody’s going out of there way here. Room lovely and great location albeit in the campus. A real dog friendly...

"It's a beautiful property in the country with public bus access if you are willing to walk a mile to the bus stop. I considered it good exercise and a beautiful walk if its not raining. We had some issue with our room keys and had to have them reactivated every night when we returned from our excursions. The breakfast is very good but I'm not a big breakfast eater.
