"We arrived on a sunday afternoon when shops are closed but bought some food to bring . Only negative we found was that there were no sheets or duvet covers . Hard to know sizes in advance and shops being closed made it challenging for first night when you travel from far away countries. Most other things available in the house. It has a good electric cookplate ,good size fridge,small freezer compartment. Sofa s are covered with blankets but comfortable. Beds were comfortable but single matresses...

"Met by host, Serge, who gave us a great welcome and intro to property. Host had included some welcome treats, including a bottle of champagne and Belgian chocolates.. and Christmas decorations as we celebrated Christmas here. Fully equipped kitchen, heating and comfy beds meant a great stay. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area and it was great- the beachfront at De Haan was beautiful and easy access to Ghent and Bruges… Great communication and check out procedure… Thanks so much...

"Recently had a long weekend here and it really is a fabulous place to stay. Situated just outside Blankenberge, it is a perfect location for the beaches, the lovely bars and restaurants in the town centre (some of the best food in Europe) and also a great base for adventuring to other towns and cities. "This is a beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. The description is correct in noting the "eye for detail": the interior decor is stunning. The loft / open concept was ideal for my husband, son and I and the location allowed for daytrips to Bruges, Ghent as well as some cycling along the canal (although the bicycles are in need of some maintenance)."

Leider war die Waschmaschine defekt und der Wasserdruck lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Benutzt jemand den Wasserhahn, ist duschen nicht mehr möglich und andersrum. Als je extra informatie vraagt krijg je het niets persoonlijks als antwoord. zij vragen zoveel adminstratieve gegevens.Het allerergste, van een bedrijf in Vlaanderen die iets verhuurt in Vlaanderen dat ze Nederlands/ Vlaams spreken en schrijven. Ze weigerden dit te doen. "
