"We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment style room with full kitchen, dining area and bath on the third floor. We were welcomed and had a nice chat while checking in. Room was clean and comfortable and appreciated the full kitchen for in room dining. While the hotel is located on a busy street we did not notice any major noise to speak of. The name harbour view is a bit misleading as the hotel doesn't have a harbour view, at least not from the ground floor rooms! However it is only a short walk from Caroline Bay. "Very friendly check-in. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful with our questions being our first visit to Timaru. Walked to the lighthouse then to the penguins. Returned late at night and had an awesome sleep in a very comfortable warm bed. The room is not fancy but perfect for the price and you just need somewhere to sleep. "
