"After booking, I read some negative reviews, so arrived with a somewhat negative attitude. I found that the room was clean and did not smell at all. Very pleased. Another reviewer said that the deposit was slow being returned. Mine arrived in my bank the next day. The room and bedding was clean but the architecture needed renewal with attention to detail. "The room we stayed in was fine. It could use updated furniture. The cleaning was ok, the carpets need a deep clean and to be vacuumed. Over all it worked for us, and our budget. The location was great walking distance or an easy uber to many places. The pool and hot tub area was very nice. We had a washing machine that didn't work, they gave us a key to use a different room to do some laundry, that room was VERY NICE! And next day we had a new washer installed! We did wish we had a couple more...

"The property is located easy walking distance to surfers Paradise and also the local Chevron Island shops and restaurants. The property is compact but there was good parking and their accommodation was clean and pleasant. Communication was excellent. The kitchen was really well appointed for a stay of several days. "Great position on the beach. Only downside was beds were not made and no face washers. There could be a bit more shampoo/conditioner."

"The property looked nothing like the photos. It was dirty, old and stunk like mould. This place was an absolute nightmare and I can’t believe it’s still being rented as it does not meet minimum accommodation living standards. The hotel management are awful and basically scamming people. We left straight after checking in and stayed somewhere else. "

"Situated across from the beach, balcony, living room and bedrooms all had beach views! Great location only a short stroll to Cavill ave. Apartment was stylishly decorated and very clean. Kitchen had all utensils needed and more... you could even bake a cake! Was nice to be footsteps away to golden sands and the beach. My only advice would be if you are like me and need a good pillow to sleep, then bring your own as pillows provided were extremely soft and an inch thick."

"We spent two weeks in a lovely two bedroom apartment. Managers Marty and Dorelle, were outstanding hosts, extremely helpful and accommodating. The apartment was clean with everything we required. Pool was warm and well maintained. Close to the beach, Pacific Fair and dozens of restaurants. We will be returning next time we are on the Gold Coast. Highly recommend accomodation! "

"Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. "
