"The style and view at this property was amazing and relaxing, close to local shops and bathhouse. The outdoor day bed was unusable as it had not been cleaned, full of bird droppings. Toilet was not clean and place was slightly dusty. "

"The is property was fantastic for me and my family for 2 nights to celebrate Christmas. Unlike some other properties in the past this place had ALL the essentials you could expect to need which was a nice suprise. And the large double oven was perfect for Christmas lunch Thanks so much. "

"Communication with host was perfect. Property described as pet friendly however backyard was shared with other guests/dogs - adjacent pet owners had unfriendly dog so we were unable to use backyard which is why we choose the property. Future guests should note that whilst the yard is fully fenced, it is shared with other guests. Beds were comfortable, property a mix of old and modern which we really enjoyed. "We enjoyed our stay at this property. Driveway was very steep and narrow, so as we had a Cruiser I had to get out further down the drive, and my husband had to be careful to park. Once we were in the house it was very comfortable with great views. We could see the carpark of Sovereign Hill from the deck in front of the property, it was that close! Lovely to sit there in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Thank you for providing such a nice house."

"A lovely place to stay with all the creature comforts we could have asked for. The property is hosted by the exceptional Tony, who checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were happy and see if we needed anything, and better yet, was only too happy to oblige and help out where he could when we did ask for a favour. "This was wonderfully suitable for our family of 16 (3 generations) to gather. Enough room to be together (in the living/dining area or outside) and plenty of space for smaller groups or individuals to have some quiet time. I was impressed that there was plenty of crockery and the BBQ and picnic boxes were great. We loved the personal touches - sheet music, books, paintings etc, and the seasonal decorations. I can't recommend highly enough!"

Plenty of dining space and large comfortable couch in lounge.Front has quite high steps and parking is beside the old cobble stone gutters found throughout Ballarat, so something to consider if travelling with disabled or elderly. "Upon arrival there was fresh bread and fruit. Lovely touch unexpected. The unit was beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The heating system was awesome, kept the unit at a very cosy temperature. Host Mary is very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Ballarat"
