It also had a great outdoor space that was compact but nicely designed and very comfortable. "Very warm on arrival as someone had put all the heating on which was required as was cold outside. Wine and snacks on table upon arrival, but no indication on whether for our consumption or not, so we left there. Back French doors had a large gap underneath which counteracted the heat pumps on. We blocked with towels. Apart from that, the property was gorgeous. Best beds and pillows. Highly recommend this property. Would stay again, no hesitation."

"The house was perfect, across the road from two of our weekend destinations, and just a very short drive to the commercial centre and restaurants, cafes etc. Very comfortable accommodations, well set up and everything we needed was on site. Also close to the bus stop at Sovereign Hill and the Rare Trades Centre if you are a non-driver. Will stay there again "

"Upon arrival there was fresh bread and fruit. Lovely touch unexpected. The unit was beautiful, very clean. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The heating system was awesome, kept the unit at a very cosy temperature. Host Mary is very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Ballarat"

"First stay at this hotel and it was really nice. The rooms and hotel generally were clean, and all was in good order. Not the largest rooms but for one it was fine. They do offer off-street parking but tried twice, on check-in and then after dinner and there was no space. There is all day parking about 30-40 metres away so that wasn't the end of the world. I have one negative or criticism, and that was to do with breakfast where I met a client. We both ordered eggs, but it came with just one...
