"Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). "The home is comfortable and gorgeous and we loved the wood heater as it was cold enough to use it and we have one like it at home. Proximity to Flinders Chase NP was important for us and the lovely beach was readily accessible for long walks. But what we loved most were the wallabies that came down to the cottage every afternoon for a feed - they were very entertaining and we loved feeding and watching them. "
