"Disappointed. We were not aware that the owners had four large, boisterous dogs one of which was very aggressive. The facilities were basic. We were surprised that we had to light an antiquated boiler each time in order to obtain hot water. There was no WiFi connection. Although the property was described as being in Concarneau, it was some distance from the town. "The house was excellently appointed, comfortable and well equipped. The terrace overlooking the garden and river was a bonus. The owner was friendly and charming. "

"A friendly welcome by the owner including a complimentary basket. The house is perfect for a short stay and is very well furnished to a high standard as well as being very comfortable and welcoming. The local beach is 2 minutes walk away and is great for bathing and water sports (surfing, windsurfing etc...). There is also a good seafood restaurant very close by. We would stay again without hesitation. The only improvement we can suggest would be the inclusion of wi-fi."

"The house is absolutely beautiful and space inside perfect for our group of 12. The garden and pool are also ideal. However the noise, which was by no means excessive for 6 kids age 10 and under having fun in a pool, was a problem for the close proximity of the neighbours which was a shame."

"There was a problem with the linen and towels as the English site said there were included but when the french contract arrived it said there was a fee per room. This has now been rectified. The website doesn’t make it clear that the fourth bedroom is completely separate. You have to go outside and down a steep slippery slope to access it. "An absolute gem of a property, in a perfect location for exploring Crozon and further afield in Finistere. The gite is immaculately clean, very well furnished, calm and peaceful. "Spent 10 wonderful, relaxing days here. The property is situated in a lovely part of Brittany close to Quimper, with easy access to many other lovely places such as Douarnenez. The hosts are simply lovely - exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem and they were more than happy to assist.
