"I stayed here for two nights for parents weekend at Berkeley. It’s very clean and a nice hotel. The only problem and biggest problem is that my room ( actually all the queen rooms) was facing the main street so there was a lot of car noise specially at night when you want to sleep. Other than this it was a good hotel to stay in. "

"This is a barebones hotel, but they get everything right. If you want to be in Berkeley in a neighborhood, this is your place. The attached bistro opens at 6:30am and makes the best cappuccinos in the area against some stiff competition. Cheese Board pastries are just a few doors down. "This place is very quaint, but sometimes it seems a little bit worn. The bed was a little old. The air conditioner unit was also old (and noisy; I had to turn it off). However, I slept fine, and the staff was really very pleasant. I love the area as well. This is the third time I’ve stayed there, and my impression is fairly consistent about it."

"The hotel is nice and the staff was great too. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and safe. The only thing about the area is that there weren't that many places to eat in the immediate area. Also, public transportation options are not super close to the hotel, except for the cable car which passes right in front but the cable car is not really that convenient since it is more expensive, passes less frequently and sometimes it's full and you can't get on."
