"I had an amazing stay. The service level was very high throughout. Excellent rooms with everything you need, clean and well designed. I went on two trips, but otherwise stayed at the hotel. Was worried before my trip if I’d get bored, but there was plenty to do, the food selection was plenty (6 restaurants) and the view, beach and garden were absolutely stunning. "The property is stunning. However, more training is needed for the staff. Ordered food from one of the pool bars and after an hour, my food never arrived. The remote in my room didnt work, i requested service, it never came. I asked for menus to the restaurants to determine where to go for dinner and no one could get this information for me. So, with some training, this has the potential to be a 5 star resort"

"We had a fantastic 5 days at this resort. Everything worked very well. Our room had a wonderful terrace/balcony, was spacious, clean with all the necessary amenities. The beach was a stone throw from our accommodation; sandy and a little rocky like all beaches in Mauritius. Food was very good, both the Indian and Italian buffets, as well as the a la carte. My only gripe is the cost of wine, which is true of all hotels in Mauritius. Many Brits/French and Russians. "

The rooms and common areas/restaurant are so tastefully decorated. I rate this hotel well above some more famous Mauritian establishments, such as Le St Geran. "We loved the hotel’s position right on the beach. The staff were very friendly. But could be better with just a few tweaks, like some chairs need cushions on. Less time waiting for orders to be taken and food did take a while sometimes. Rooms were good but being an older couple the stairs were an issue for us as there is no lift. We would stay again if we come back here to see our son as it was a nice break to recuperate after a long flight."
