About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Rusty Bridge River Lodge

Rusty Bridge River Lodge is a pup friendly cabin that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. With a plush queen bed on the main floor and a queen in the cozy loft. Both beds have hotel quality cotton linens. This fully remodeled cabin, built in 1958, sits adjacent to the single lane Rusty Bridge over the Sauk River, providing guests with breathtaking river views. This is a 4 season paradise!

Inside the cabin, guests will find a living room with a gas fireplace and comfy couches, perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor activities. The fully stocked kitchen has everything guests need to prepare meals, and there is a BBQ on the patio for grilling.

Beyond its cozy interiors, the lodge boasts a hot tub strategically positioned for uninterrupted river views. Let the sounds of flowing waters mingle with the crackle from the covered fire pit, all under the watchful eyes of the majestic evergreens.

But the experience doesn't end at the lodge's boundaries. Rusty Bridge serves as your portal to the Pacific Northwest's wonders: from kayaking amidst fall's riot of colors to winter fly fishing. Discover trails leading to hidden waterfalls, and the nearby hiking spots like Lake 22 and Gothic Basin.

After a day outdoors, Granite Falls beckons with its array of offerings. Dive into the local culture with bars and tap rooms echoing with stories of the Cascades, coffee shops brewing the perfect blend of warmth and flavor, and restaurants serving culinary delights that celebrate the region. Granite Falls isn't just a town; it's an experience, blending history with modern tastes.

For those seeking the perfect balance of nature's serenity and local vibrancy, Rusty Bridge River Lodge awaits. Book now for an unforgettable seasonal journey in the Pacific Northwest!

The entire home and property are yours to enjoy. Adjacent cabins are nearby, but each has separate parking areas and entrances and is privacy fenced, providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. Past guests have enjoyed the privacy with hardly a notice of the other guests in those cabins. The firepit by the beach is reserved for you, and river access just below the steps is shared with Mt. Pilchuck River Cabin. The Verlot Campground, the ranger station, and Heather Creek are just a short walk away.

We are located next to the Rusty Bridge and the Stilly River. Situated just below Mt. Pilchuck and Heather Lake. We are in a community of cabins within the USDA forest service area. It's a little rustic in our neighborhood. There is a mix of vacation cabins and permanent residences. We have very low crime in our zone, and most folks keep to themselves. This is an all inclusive space and very welcoming. Don't be surprised if someone goes by and gives you a friendly wave. Many locals have helped with our restoration and creation here, and folks look out for each other in the Verlot community. You are in a welcome place :)

We want to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

1) Please be aware that the sleeping loft is accessible via spiral stairs, which adds to the charm of the cabin.

2) If you plan to bring your furry friend, we welcome them with open arms and have a maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with a fee of $32 per pup per night. This fee is added post booking. No cats are allowed. To avoid any confusion, please include your dog in the reservation. Please note that we kindly ask you to not allow dogs on the furniture, beds, or in the sleeping loft.

3) We do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs. Please do not arrive early, or stay past check-out. The cleaners will be there by 11 AM. If the cabin is ready before the standard 4 PM time, our team will message you. The cabin is usually booked back to back with every guest deserving a fully cleaned and presented cabin :)

4) We do provide firewood, however we recommend that you bring a couple bundles of dry firewood and kindling for that great fire in the firepit.

5) AllTrails is a great resource for your local hikes and excursions.

6) Weather forecast for your planning should be Verlot Washington.

7) Closest gas, grocery, outfitters, firewood, restaurants, coffee, and bars is 15 minutes to the West in Granite Falls Washington. You should find everything you need there.

8) The cabin is stocked with a 20 spice spice rack, salt and pepper, olive oil & non-stick spray, popcorn and an air popper, fresh French Roast coffee beans and grinder, French Press, Coffee Maker, single-cup pour over filter system, assorted teas, hot chocolate and cider packets, monk fruit & stevia, toaster, blender, cocktail shaker, gas BBQ and utensils, tea pot, washer and dryer with detergent and fabric softener, organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, and a hair dryer. Oh, and all of the pots and pans you need. :)

9) All your information for directions, check-in, house information, codes, and check-out instructions will be emailed 2 days prior to your arrival.

We strive to accommodate all our guests' needs, so please feel free to let us know if you have any special requests or requirements. We can't wait to host you and make your stay unforgettable! :)

Cozy, Quiet and Clean
We loved this place! Very cozy, amazing views of the river and trees, very clean, easy check in process. The movie selection was great, but the wifi is weak given the rural area and tree cover. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of. We really loved it and hope to book here again!

The Perfect Escape
Simply put, this was the absolutely ideal stay for us. I just wish we could've stayed more than one night. We opted to do the Lake 22 hike prior to arriving and were treated to some very typical seasonal weather. So by the time we arrived to the cabin, we were soaked to the bone. Walking in to the cabin, we were immediately warmed just by the coziness of the place. When I say they nailed every detail, I mean, they nailed absolutely every detail. We stripped to our skivvies and got into some comfy clothes and warmed ourselves by the fireplace. Enjoyed some wine, chacuterie, and great company as the rain continued to fall throughout the evening. Time felt as if it were standing still in our little cabin tucked into the mountains. We woke up and took a stroll along the river just outside our door before regrettably packing up and heading out. When I think about the the absolutely ideal cabin, this is it. I want to go back, hope that someday we will. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a perfect and wonderful experience!

It was a really short stay due to my plane being canceled 4 times, but the time I spent there was fantastic. Host was really nice and easy to contact. I hope we get a chance in the future to do it again!
